A bit about me

Hi, Edvard here! I’m a Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform consultant with a passion for new technology and development.

It started while I was studying business, when Dynamics and Power Platform suddenly came along. There I found the perfect mix of business and technology. What fascinated me most was the automation: the user does steps A and B, and the system takes care of the rest, automagically, in a system where processes, data and development fit together. I’ve always loved technology, but to combine it with my interest in business I took an extra year of informatics to get a more fundamental understanding.

I use that combination every day. Today I work with Power Platform, from requirements and solution design to development in Power Automate, JavaScript and APIs. With a solid technical foundation I can both write the code and make sure the solution actually fits the users and the business.

That’s exactly why AI has become a big part of my day, and it’s the technology I both love and hate the most. Used well, it means that as a consultant I’m not just solving one task at a time, but can work broader and faster. Used badly, it just comes across as noise and erodes trust.

I learn a lot of this along the way, and I’d like to share some of it here on the blog, hoping someone else can make use of the things I’ve picked up.
